Hello, I’m Stephanie Holt, a strategic design executive with 20+ years of experience leading UX for complex, multi-product platforms at scale.
As the Director of Core Buyer Experience Design at eBay, I lead a 44-person design organization responsible for end-to-end buyer journeys and platform experiences across Discovery, Personalization, Search, Browse, and AI-mediated surfaces supporting multi-billion-dollar commerce globally.
I specialize in scaling coherent product experiences through strong design systems, platform thinking, and cross-functional alignment, enabling teams to move faster while maintaining a high bar for quality across diverse products and customer needs.
I partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research leaders to bring clarity to ambiguity, evolve platforms over time, and build healthy, high-performing teams that deliver measurable business impact.

Testimonials
"For over two decades, when I have been faced with building a new software business, making sense of complex systems for people with intuitive design, organizing large projects to meet ambitious deadlines or helping a team to feel supported and empowered, I have been lucky that Stephanie was there to play a leading role. She is one of a handful of reliable collaborators in digital product design that I would want on my team every time, to face any challenge. Stephanie has the broad experience and the refreshing attitude that always transforms problems into opportunities. Some of the work I'm most proud of, I did with her."

Trei Brundrett, former COO Vox Media
"Stephanie is a true rare breed with the crystal clear focus required to deliver strategic initiatives through to product execution. She is a gifted designer, perceptive businessperson, engaging communicator, and above it all, someone you just want to spend time with. I would hire her anytime, work with her anytime. She’s one of a kind.”

Brian Kralyevich, former Design Director
at Nokia and Xbox, and VP of UX Design eBay
"Stephanie is the coolest boss I ever had. Ideal, really. She would be there to support and advise, but would also give me the autonomy I needed to pursue new and interesting projects, learn and grow in my role. She's terribly hard working and reliable - would turn around great presentations in a shot - I was always amazed! Most importantly, she's a lovely person to be around and work with."
